Forget the City Status, no real value in it. Team up with Llangollen and go for the City of Culture bid instead (no need to be an actual city). Hurry up though Wrexham you only got a week left to get that bid in.
It’s due to be built on one of the biggest industrial estates in Europe. Yet the geniuses at the council feel that a little bit of extra traffic will be a problem.
How is it ‘not sustainable for people to travel to Wrexham / Gwersyllt / Broughton’ but it seems it was sustainable to build a big housing estate (on green fields) where most will be travelling to Wrexham / Chester / Further afield to work (and can do their shopping on their way home).
Biggest lessons from the first wave was that we did not fully lockdown early enough.
Government policy is now that we only go for a full lockdown as a last resort.
What could go wrong?
On the Isle of Man, several people have been jailed for breaching covid rules. No messing around there.
