    I bet motorist are still not getting fines for speeding on the bypass, all that money spent on the cameras. What a waste.

    I don’t think they are. They are entirely for show. Because it’s an environmental speed limit zone rather than a safety zone, I don’t even know if they have the legislation in place to enact speeding fines. If they did, surely they would have enacted them by now and turned the stretch into a cash cow.
