katyBlockedSewage goes to the water companies who then put it into the rivers.
Instead of getting the water companies to stop doing that they want to stop building things instead as their logic is more buildings = more sewage. Real logic = same number of people = same amount of sewage, just coming from different places. If they really want to tackle phosphates without stopping the water companies doing whatever they want then surely they have to do something to tackle population rather than buildings.

katyBlockedThe bias more comes from trying to compare two nobody Conservative MPs with two high ranking Labour MPs.
It should come as no surprise that LABOUR receive donations from the Unions. The clue is in their name. They are the party that represents the LABOUR force.
In contrast the Conservative donations come from the rich and powerful. This is who they represent.
That’s why we have a two party system to try and keep the other side in check.
katyBlockedI spotted Rishi and Liz in Wrexham recently.
katyBlockedThe key comment came at the end of the article:
“what I’m concerned about in this area now, is that members are coming to the executive board asking questions, when really, these questions should go to scrutiny. They should go to task and finish groups”
So he wants scrutiny. Just doesn’t want any pesky questions. Translation: “Give your questions to someone else so i can ignore them easier.”
katyBlockedDorries deleted her Twitter, so that’s prob why you cant find hers. Don’t know about Fabricant.
katyBlockedSeems like the whole Wrexham.com report on this is a jumbled up mess.
Wrexham has not been annouced as the Grand Depart for the Tour of Britain next year. They will be hosting a stage of the Tour Series (completely different event).
They are considering a bid for the 2025 Tour of Britain Grand Depart.
Terrible reporting, but everything in my original post still stands. I would add that even with the Tour of Britain most of the hosts are towns and not cities.

katyBlockedWell, surprise surprise, the decision got overturned. Who would have guessed? (apart from everyone but the council)
katyBlockedNo just the Code of Practice, but also the law.
The Local Government Act 1972 as amended by the Local Government (Access to Information Act) 1988 states:
In section 100B(4) – That an item cannot be considered at a meeting unless its on the agenda that was published at least 3 days before. Only exception is urgent items.
In section 100B(3) – All reports must also be available 3 days before unless the meeting is urgent or the Councillors themselves have not received the reports
katyBlockedIf Bithell moves to housing don’t be surprised if he comes up with the bright idea of getting rid of all the houses as they just attract people wanting to live in them.
katyBlockedYes hell has not opened up and swallowed St Asaph. Also businesses have not flocked to invest in St Asaph. The streets are not paved with gold, there are no Gucci shops in the high street.
Businesses invest where the ROI will be the greatest. Yes that usually means cities because cities usually have larger populations and better infrastructure. Just renaming a small town to a city will not make a business suddenly want to invest there.
Warrington, who missed out on becoming a city, will still be viewed as more attractive for investment from businesses as it has a much larger population, is better located strategically, and has better infrastructure.
