Pubs are excluded from the mask rules.

Wales in the only country in the UK that does not already require masks to be worn in shops and Wales is the only area of the UK where the R number is below 1 (the virus is under control). Every where else where masks are mandatory the R number is above 1 (out of control).

So are masks a good thing or not?

    Save our slag heap.

And yes, it is a slagheap according to the dictionary definition of what a slag heap is.

The question is why are people using the town centre car parks if the town centre isn’t open. They must be gaining some sort of benefit by being parked there, while the town gains no benefit as they are not spending any money in the town. So they should be paying for parking.

Now when the town opens up again, that is the time to remove the parking fees. Why charge someone for the benefit of coming into town to spend their money in the town centre shops and businesses. They should be encouraged to do this, not given a reason to go somewhere else.

The retired NHS staff are on decent pensions, if large numbers of them get Corona virus it might cut the pension bill a bit. Maybe this has been thought through after all.

Constantly allowing houses to be built on greenfield sites and sites prone to flooding when there is shedloads of brownfield sites in the Acre Fair / Cefn Mawr / Old Ruabon brick works areas. I’m sure plenty of other brownfield sites around Wrexham as well.

Lets get all these brown field sites used up first.

My friend Dave heard from one of his friends who’s an estate agent that Mauricio Pochettino has been viewing properties in Caia Park. Things could be looking up very soon.
I’d be happy with it set at 16, as politicians’ decisions affect them and their future eg education and climate change. A good way to encourage civic responsibility.
By that logic, babies should be given the right to vote.

If the councillors really want to save money then they should not have any involvement in any financial decision whatsoever. This would save millions. Councillors are inept at anything but wasting money.

They launch an expensive consultation on these changes that they know is just a box ticking exercise they will completely ignore anyway. Then when the changes are implemented and the footfall in the town drops even more, they will commission an independent report (at huge expense) to see how they can increase footfall. Then they will probably increase the parking charges even more to try and cover the cost of the report and so the cycle continues.
