WHY are some councillors still so OPSESSED with disguising the LDP & trying to through it out, they are so so out of touch in thinking Wrexham does not need thousands of new homes, just look at the new homes being built just of the A483, almost every single one so far say Sold on them. There is a total lack of New homes & new rented homes in Wrexham.

Now that the LDP has finally been approved, so many new developments are being recommended. The developments do seem rather large though & seem to lack 2 bedroom homes which the Council should INSIST on being built? Although new home are needed, as I don’t believe Plaid Cymru & others that we don’t need new homes because the population is not increasing. The population is not increasing because people in Wrexham cant find a home in Wrexham.

I know so many young people purchasing homes just over the border into Flintshire because of the lack of homes within Wrexham.

Why are some of the Wrexham Councillors so Stubborn & living in a fantasy, more homes are needed, everyone can see that, if the population does actual fall (no sign of it even though some councillors think it is), then more empty homes would be a good thing for the area as it would help bring house prices down. So many Councillors seem to be NOT IN MY BACK YARD.
I hope those who vote against the plan actually get fined & they have to personally pay the fine.

JUST Back the Plan, we the public majority want more homes built in the General area.

Why is Wrexham Council STILL trying to get the LDP Thrown out, their insistent that the population is not increasing as much is absolutely rubbish, i say that because every single new house that is built, is sold within a couple of month of going on sale so more & more houses are needed as well as the amenities associated with them, i also know so many young people that are looking for their first home but cannot find any in their price range & rents are even higher than a mortgage. Less houses built means House prices stay high, the more built the more stable house prices become in the area.

What I HATE is Drakfords comments, if no speed signs & there are lampposts then assume the speed limit is 20, which is disgrasful what about visitors from England, they will assume CORRECTLY the speed limit is 30, but like outside the racecourse there is no speed signs, that I can see? This is definitely a I hate cars scheme just like canceling virtually all new roads.

We desperately need to get Labour & the supportive Plaid Cymru out of power in Wales, they are so anti car, 1st they blanket ban all road improvements keeping major traffic jams, 2nd they impose blanked 20mph speed.

Please Wales stop voting Labour just because your great great great great Grandad did, no party should be in power this long even if you dislike the opposition.

Sorry but the argument “International evidence also shows that on average, a person is around five times more likely to be killed when hit by a vehicle travelling at 30mph compared to 20mph” Well why not 10mph then because that will show even more lives will be saved. Its fine increasing to 20mph, but NOW being the default, this is 100% decided by people that live in a large city with fantastic transport‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌ or dont even drive.

Who actually owns the Island Green car park? if its not Euro Car Parks, can anyone find out how long the contract is for? can the contract be terminated? its the only way companies listen. If Euro Car Parks actually own the car park, then can the Council force then to fix the issue or Fine them? Do Councils actually have any power?

We should Name & shame the Car Park owners, they must be able to Demand a Meeting if Not Euro Car Parks?

Yes was thinking the same thing if this development gets the Green light the new Junction cannot be built without re design, but Wrexham council should insist on a redesign to leave some space jor a new Ruthin Road junction just incase, but knowing the council they dont like to have forward thinking, that current junction off the A483 is bad enough at Rush hour never mind with an extra 1500 cars at the same time, but i guess if it was not for the Stupid Welsh government the construction of the new road would already be underway.

“We’ve argued that it is not a plan for local communities because it allocates land for land based on a flawed population projection that expected the borough’s population to grow by 10%. The reality is that it has been static for five years and is projected to decline further by about 2% in coming years”

I disagree with this, Wrexham needs more houses, they say population is static or projected to decline, thats Flawed. more people want to come or to stay living in Wrexham but cant because there is not enough property’s to move into so move out of the area, there is no reason to not back the LDP, as every house that is built has always been sold so that proves there is a need. What i Totally disagree with is affordable housing was halved by planning inspectors this is radiculas, Affordable houses should be doubled not halved & force the house builders to comply.

What is the real reason the against councillors are against this? Not in my Back yard Brigade???
