newwalesParticipantThis is good news, the infrastructure is needed before most people will move to electric especially in Wrexham where a lot of people don’t have drives so can’t charge at home.
I always thought hydrogen cars would be best but virtually no one is making cars & the infrastructure would be more expensive than electric.
Quick charge is the only way to go so good on the council going for 7kw BUT closer to 22kw would be better that would fully charge the car within 3 to 4 hours
June 8, 2017 at 1:51 pm in reply to: Another GP Surgery to Terminate Contract with Betsi Cadwaladr #132646
newwalesParticipantThe problem is with the GPs contracts, they get paid so much that most start to go part time in there early 50s then a large percentage retire late 50s, the hospitals are worse consultants are allowed to work part time in private practices if they want, they need to change the contracts from day 1 of training that they must work at least 80% in the NHS for the first 20 years after training that would help reduce the waiting lists currently, 6 to 8 months NHS or the same consultant next week in a private hospital.
newwalesParticipantHope so why should being Married give u more money than being single or just not married, it is not “A Tax rise against Married Couples” its just sensible policy even though I dont particularly like Labour.
November 10, 2016 at 3:49 pm in reply to: 2017 Council elections: A New Hope? or Attack of the Clones? #122437
newwalesParticipantWe just Need to finally kick Labour out of power in Wrexham some of the council’s have been in power for well over 20 years, they are out of touch & stuck in there ways.
newwalesParticipantIm not into it, but it is fantastic for adults, it is getting much more adults off the sofa & walking round the area. Much more exercise is always a good thing.
newwalesParticipantI agree it does look fantastic, although form a couple of angles, it looks like he is taking a pee!!!.
newwalesParticipantAll the names are awful, just call the Prison HMP North East Wales. Simple & to the point, most of the prisoners & visitors will have no clue how to pronounce the welsh names, Also the name should easily be identifiable by the name alone.
Just look at the problem with Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, Absolutly no one out side north wales, know where the hell that health board is without googling it.
newwalesParticipantTypical councilors against the idea, I bet it is because over half will be made redundant, which is a good thing more money to spend.
This should definitely happen, but unfortunately I BET the council office will Not be in the Largest Town Wrexham, which is a dam shame.
newwalesParticipantThe main problem with the Asda speed bumps is the road is not straight so you approach the speed bumps on a slight angle causing the car to jump around much more than they wood if the road was straightstraight.
These speed bumps are killing my back, every time. They need to be either lowered or placed in a better position with the crossings on a straighter approach.
newwalesParticipantMaybe if the developer reduces the number of homes to say 200ish they would get planning permission?
