ClebrynParticipantJust an update. A local company have sorted out my problem. At half what BG wanted and next day. Didn’t push it but had a cover contract at 60% of BG cost without any excess. Refund from BG has not appeared, no real surprise, so have had to contact my bank to stop BG taking more payments off me via DD. I repeat my warning. British Gas is not the company it was a few years ago.
ClebrynParticipantWhat about Boris’s NHS lie bus???? I am sure he would lend it to his chums at WCBC. They could use the space for any little fib they felt like. Go on Cllr Pritchard, you know you want to…..
ClebrynParticipantA great opportunity this week for our two local MP’s. Both able to ask the Prime Minister a question at PMQ’s in Parliament. With so many things worrying their constituents a chance to nail down the Prime Minister on matters of grave concern. Take your pick from…. Soaring inflation, selling off the NHS, proven rampant corruption in the Tory Government, failure to get Brexit to work for the workers, encouraged profiteering over Covid, people on pensions cheated out of their promised rise, cost of living rising and standards of living falling even further, heat or eat, Universal Credit cuts even to those working and having to claim it, and of course selling out COP 26 to the biggest polluters.
There are many, many more, equally worrying problems, to ask questions on.
They chose Offa’s Dyke and Defence Committee’s inquiry into women in the Armed Forces.
Worthy issues for another debate at another time.
They both chose to ask nauseating, sycophantic and a**e licking questions, to which the PM had prepared answers, to try to improve his image. ???
I got the impression that their careers matter much much more to them than their constituents. Sucking up in the hope of a safe seat in England at the next election???
Frankly I hope they succeed.
ClebrynParticipantSir Keir said Webbe, 56, “should stand down [as an MP] and if she doesn’t we will support a recall petition”.
If only Boris wasn’t such a snake. No offence to snakes intended.
ClebrynParticipantA RISE to the top of the pay scale for Wrexham Council’s chief executive is “not a pay increase”, a senior councillor has insisted.
May I suggest a drop of £4000 in the pay scale to save ratepayers money.
This clearly is NOT a pay cut.
ClebrynParticipantNot the Senedd, the Hartlepool by election.
Yeasterday on LBC radio call in was Fred from Hartlepool extolling praise on the Tories.
because…..
wait for it…….
“They have 9 food banks now, and Labour didn’t give them any”…
Now that’s how to persuade the voters and win an election.
Chwarae Teg.
ClebrynParticipantSo Labour have won control of the Senedd for another 5 years. Seems like a good result to me. A stable competent government is certainly what is needed to see us through the next months or years. The full impact of Covid and how Brexit will effect Wales are unknowns as yet. It is also good to see two strong and able Opposition Parties. I am sure they will scrutinise and hold the Labour Government to account to ensure the very best for Wales. I am also pleased that the negative, spoiling parties, such as Abolish or UKIP, have all been rejected by the electorate, as they had nothing positive to offer moving forward.
FYI. I voted Labour for Candidate and Plaid on Regional.
ClebrynParticipantWell said.
