There’s nothing about changed parking on the planning application (P/2013/0419), in fact the student flats will have its own underground parking with 50+ spaces!

Just remember this will be decided by the UK government and not the council.

It will be interesting to note their decsion, since the council refused a bog standard warehouse on the same site…

They did put up signs on the B&Q roundabout with the A483 showing both lanes can be used for town centre, but people ignore those and just get angry with those who follow them.

Never got the “distance” argument – didn’t everyone used to park in Eagles Meadow and walk into town prior to the shopping centre being built? Why is it such a forbidden thing to do now?

I bought a replacement watch strap from eBay, but I had difficulty fitting it myself.

I took it to Hales, wishing to pay for it being fitted.

    They did it for free.

Ah! It would be a great policy though.

How would it work though as its prepay ticket?

The Nag’s Head pub has the machine print two tickets – one for the window, one to present to the guy behind the bar. He takes it, and then knocks the price off whatever you buy!

Something similar could work in a retail environment.

It’s a free improvement that otherwise would be somewhere else.

Haven’t seen it myself but the place did need a spruce up. I’d rather they have extended the red brick “theme” for consistency though. Area could look a bit drab with all that grey.

Seems a lot of people hate the places they live in for some of the names on there!

    I never knew that!

With Chester losing all cinemas it could be worth promoting that fact to people in Cheshire – and introduce them to Wrexham!

Ah! Sorry, it was an example of my suggestion, not a current policy.

Only the O2 store does it at the moment.

Yes it’s usually easier to use the built in system which I’m sure they want people to use but it is so small, having been designed for a time where we all had smaller monitors no doubt!
