Wire art, cupcake decorating and macrame are just some of the hands-on sessions taking place in the beautiful surroundings of Alyn Waters Country Park this year.

Groundwork North Wales have unveiled a series of crafting activities where the local community can unleash their inner artist.

Seasoned crafters and beginners alike can take part in the sessions – with the opportunity to learn new skills under expert supervision.

Upcoming workshops include:

  • 11 May – Iris Paper Folding Workshop
  • 15 June – Mosaic Butterfly Workshop
  • 22 June – Macrame Workshop
  • 7 September – Wire Art Workshop
  • 26 October – Cupcake Decorating Workshop

“These workshops are a wonderful opportunity for people to learn new skills, socialise with like-minded individuals, and unwind in the picturesque surroundings of Alyn Waters Country Park” said Katy Turner, Café and Conference Manager.

Each workshop session will be led by experienced instructors, ensuring attendees receive personalised guidance and support every step of the way.

All equipment and materials will be provided, and price includes a choice of hot drink and delicious cake from onsite Caffi Cyfle. All profits will go towards Groundwork North Wales charitable aims in the community.
