Cummings edited a blog post from last year retroactively claiming he’d warned about Virus. He then referenced it in yesterday’s press conference. He is a liar.

If the average people aren’t bothered about Cummings actions then Anonytrolls wouldn’t be viciously defending him and Johnson on this post and elsewhere online. They’d just relax and make us lefties look like we are rantings, but you are all throwing fuel on the bonfire. 50 plus posts in this thread in a few days.

Had myself and the likes of Cmaj and Tim had just been complaining about it in agreement then it would be much shorter. So thanks CouncillorsOut, WrexhamUser and Truth for keeping an issue that seems as important to you as it is to us well and truly going. This despite your continuous failed attempts to play it down.

    Bravo.

It is funny how people keep carting out that it’s the left who are targeting and attacking Cummings for his actions when it’s the majority of the country angry at him – ordinary people – including the Daily Mail readership. Disgusted from Tunbridge Wells has written to his local Tory MP expecting something to be done about it. Left, centre and right unite in condemning the rule breaker who apparently made them up. If you saw your school headteacher vandalising school property after he’d given you detention for something like littering – you’d be pissed off as well.

To find commentariat apologists who back Johnson Cummings Flying Circus you have to go as far right as Katie Hopkins. Then Attila the Hun style anonymous trolls on forums and social media try to sledgehammer their repeated blunt points across that no-one in their right minds agree with.

Cummings isn’t a nobody, he smugly gets his mug about when there’s credit to be taken, such as over Brexit and helping Johnson secure a majority in the last election – he’s Johnson’s Shadow. So of course everyone knows who he is, the general public were forced to become more politically woke because of Brexit. The fact that he had the BBC waiting and the general public today just goes to show just how much he loves the media circus people claim hound him so badly.

Because of his higher profile he can’t expect to just fade into the background and start breaking all the rules constantly like he’s some kind of anonymous nobody which propaganda is bizarrely trying to paint him as. When Ant McPartlin crashed his car under the influence – the entire media and the country noticed and there was understandable pressure and attention on him and his family and his associates. That is the double edged sword of being in the public eye. If you love all the plaudits and kudos garnered when doing positive things in the public eye either don’t put a foot wrong and remain unimpeachable. Otherwise don’t expect your bad behaviour to either go unnoticed or unpunished if caught.

Last time I checked all the pub lockdowns and secret lockdown breaking parties were severely chastised by the Facebook mob – they have garden variety infractions well covered, whereas we deal with bigger issues on here. Most of us here are intelligent enough to know that sort of thing during lockdown is a bad idea and trust the police to deal with it. Unfortunately when The Prime Minister condones the behaviour of one everyone else has baulked at, then we have to start insisting issues are dealt with, as its a big f*ck you to anyone who hasn’t seen relatives in months, people have lost grandparents and parents who they were never able to hug again and in some cases weren’t even able to attend the funeral. That’s a tragedy and all that time Cummings was doing the Cannonball Run up and down to Durham whenever he saw fit to meet family members as he pleased. Now he’s shoving bullshit down people’s throats on camera like a regular Silvio Berlusconi.

Oh and is it the case that the reason so many of you anti lockdown loons want it removed so badly is because you are struggling to keep to the rules and keep flouting lockdown? Because me and I’m sure the vast majority of posters here and Wrexhamites are able to stick to the rules. Big shop once a week, pharmacy for prescription once a month and a dog walk once a day, but more often than not I go after dark and don’t see a soul. My car was last filled up with fuel mid March before lockdown. No trips to Durham for me.

The irony is delicious here – your name is votethecouncillorsout, so what does that make you – the opposition.

Also if you are super right wing then are the councillors all lefties? But they are in power.

Your arguments are more pickled than when Peter Piper starts picking them.

Oh and nice nod that Dominic is running the show completely unelected.

I’m guessing that makes it a bit like that kids TV show Dick and Dom in da Bungalow (Number 10).

Nice to see Sarah Atherton and Simon Baynes very quiet on the issue of Dominic Cummings. At least 21 other Tory MPs have now called for his resignation and have been forced into dealing with furious constituents over the way Johnson has handled everything.

Of course no photo opportunity was presented and there was no heritage railway to be saved this weekend, so it seems they are uninterested.

They are also uninterested in confirming to the questions about whether local constituents should act within the law of where they live in, in regards to Coronavirus or if they should just in fact act on instinct and do whatever they see fit.

He had some chips on a walk, so getting food and doing exercise. What he didn’t do was drive to Durham on several occasions, one of which whilst apparently infected with Coronavirus, stopping at service stations and meeting with family members not from his household.

Rule of law is over – as long as you are acting on instinct you can flout lockdown and do whatever you please. Any police try to stop you just get them to refer to Boris Johnson’s directive to the nation on actions of Cummings. Absolute disgrace.

It’s a case of “Do as we say not as we do” – there’s lots of doctors who drink and smoke excessively due to the stresses of their jobs, yet they regularly treat and see patients die suffering from alcohol and smoking related cancers and other illnesses.

We’re not saying perhaps they know something we don’t, because the NHS is under pressure from smoking and alcoholism. It’s a human condition where those in the higher up categories don’t think rules apply to them or suffer from willful blindness when it comes to their own health and safety.

USA approaching 100,000 deaths now after their failure to carry out a lockdown properly. Things are not going well in lockdown free Sweden, registered the highest death per capita this week and hardly anyone tested in Stockholm has developed antibodies suggesting their herd immunity strategy has failed.

The fact is human beings are instinctively hard wired for a lot of social close contact, so to expect a populous of millions to know how to effectively or even want to obey strict social distancing guidelines is beggar belief. There’s always going to be a number of infractions everyday, which means virus transmissions are going to occur. Sensible people aren’t waiting for a vaccine they are waiting for the number of infected in the community to drop to safer levels – just like in New Zealand.

Once levels are down, now we have a strict border quarantine policy in place, which will limit new cases from coming into the country and in principle a track and trace app will lower community spread. However, I’m skeptical about this technological solution as not everyone will download it due to its intrusive nature and not everyone will report symptoms if they have other concerns (money concerns and they have no choice but not to work). There perhaps needs to be better ways of reducing the risk of community infection.

In fact I’d be interested to hear what anti-lockdowners think about the track and trace app because effectively it enforces a series of mini lockdowns and if you download the app you are basically agreeing to participate in the worst game of tag you’re it ever. If someone walks past you in the supermarket who in a few days time reports mild Covid symptoms then you could end up having to self isolate for 2 weeks. This effectively encourages people to stay away from as many people as possible anyway or means tactically you just switch your phone’s Bluetooth off or put it into aeroplane mode or in fact just not download the app at all so you have no risk of being told you have to go into legally enforceable self isolation.

This app will be rife for abuse – want to gaslight your entire network? Declare yourself ill and make them all self isolate for 2 weeks by not getting a follow up test. Fed up of work? School? That’s right report your illness and get work or school shut down.

Perhaps all you Big Dick Dominics claiming they’ve broken lockdown would like to share with us all what you’ve actually done to do this?

If you can’t give us anything concrete then I’m calling bullshit and dubbing you the All Mouth and No Trousers brigade.
