Just what Wrexham businesses need on the first really warm Saturday trading day in the city. The Council having re introduced parking charges then chose today to vigorously enforce other parking restrictions. Welcome to Wrexham.

Coinciding with Focus Wales when town has a huge influx of visitors! Not exactly keeping a welcome in the hillsides! Lets hope it doesn’t leave a bad taste for some of those visitors or they might not be back.

Never let it be said that the gravy train-riders at Wrexham Council are capable of even the smallest bit of joined-up thinking.

And , let’s face it, as ‘representatives of the people’ they’re about as much use as chocolate teapots !

Is it true that the university are to charge £10 parking on match days? Money grabbers.

That would appear to be the case, but I’m not sure if that’s set by the Uni or the Car Park operator they’ve farmed it out to.

Council might have to bite the bullet on residents permit parking around that end of town. Won’t be cheap but it would solve the issues permanently.

Parking in the whole of Wrexham is a nightmare.

Wrexham have the opportunity to bring peOple into the town centre opening up business opportunities & then shoot themselves in the foot allowing outside companies to rip off its’ residents.

Anyone else noticed that council car parks , especially St Georges Crescent , are far from full since the parking charges have been reintroduced . When parking was free it was full all the time. Where are the missing cars parking ?
