    Conde.
Councillors seeking re election will be mainly afraid of answering the questions. The reason being, after 5 years in office, voters will be asking why have they not put things right in the last 5 years.

Cost of tackling litter £1.2 million but only 43 fines in the year, compared with 3200 fines in 6 months from Kingdom.
How was £1.2 million spent on 43 fines somebody looks to have found themselves a good job ?

    Conde,
If you are elected (good luck) do you really believe that you will be able to influence an Officer led Council?

Elected Councillors do look after their wards to a certain degree. The problem is the Executive Board, who are hand picked by the Leader of the Council, and all stick together ten votes for none against. If your elected ward Councillor is not on the Executive Board however genuine they are, they have little chance of having a say.

al. It could be deemed to be so, if you vote an Independent into office. They can be anything from a Raving Looney Party to a Galvanised Methodist. You really do not know what you are getting.

As the Council Leader often quotes:- We are here to do what is best for Wrexham. That is straight from an independents mouth.

Could it happen that voters do not elect a person that has stood as a Councillor before. This would give us a brand new Council make up.
It could not be any worse than we have at the moment.

What is the difference between a Pritchard Independent and a Bithell Independent?

I was looking at the Gwenfro ward, a strong Labour area presently represented by Cll Neil Rogers a Labour elected turned Independent.
I cannot see him retaining that ward as an Independent.
