Dylan.
Whats to say the ten defectors from Labour to Independent during the last term will, if they stand again be elected as an Independent.
Labour could retain the ward if they put up a candidate.

how do you combat breaks in and criminal damage?
Zero tolerance. Make full use of Berwyn. Break ins and criminal damage 2 years in Berwyn. This will act as a deterrent, and if not, will keep these offenders off the streets.
Walked through the Butchers Market this morning. It now looks and feels like a market should feel. All stalls occupied and plenty of shoppers around.

It seems to me that WCBC have made a wise decision in closing the People’s Market, both from the stall holders and shoppers perspectives.

If any sanity exists, it should remain that way. The Peoples Market has been neither use nor ornament for a long time and whatever mixed use it is now put to, anything would be better than what existed previously.
BenjaminM if you think that anything would be better than what existed previously, What are your thoughts on the costs of the new development? 5.5 million development costs, loss of revenue to WCBC for stall, shop and car parking charges, plus the budgeted losses for years to come. Is this better than before?

Why not purchase only 10 iPads, as it comes across only ten councillors control the County Borough.

Time for the idiots at Guild Hall to step down and let someone with common sense take over.
The idiots are the full time officers who come up with the ideas. A lot of the Councillors who pass these ideas also leave a lot to be desired.

I believe the Leader of the Council should use his gift and remove Lead Member Cllr Hugh Jones from his position on the way this has been handled..

I thought that the previous Town Centre Manager Isobel Watson (Garner) was lined up for this job.

What annoys me is that you have councillors coming on these forums expressing their own views, yet in their reign of four years in office, none of their views seem to have been put to the test.
Councillor Wynn expresses a need to cut the number of members from 52 to 42 saving 150k. Executive Board has 10 members to shadow 7 Heads of Departments, there could be a saving here of 90k.
When the Council in their questionnaire there is no mention in a reduction of these roles. Why?
Could this be just Councillor propaganda.
