DarlofanParticipantHave to totally agree with you. I don’t mind if its every few weeks but like you say its a handful of people just have no consideration for others.
We have a couple round here, 1has a motorbike which we have never seen him ride but he insists on starting a few times a week and revving the hell out of it for 10mins or so. The other neighbour has a fetish for bbq’s with loud music and once the bbq is out they then burn god knows what to keep warm, this normally smells like plastic, grass and anything that stinks when burnt.
DarlofanParticipantHope I’m not the first to end up in court. Not because of the fine but because of the grief the wife would give me. She keeps saying i wish you’d just pay it.
DarlofanParticipantHad my latest letter from them today. this is the 1st one now from their “solicitor” telling me i had best pay up or i’ll end up in court.
Interesting to read the post about ANPR planning at central retail park, although it was a guy walking round that got me as I had a ticket placed on windscreen.
DarlofanParticipantOne on industrial estate as well called Blue Bears.

If this is the ticket in Dunelm, I know someone who had one and ignored it as they didnt agree to any contract. There were around 6-7 threatening letters then it stopped.
Are you keeping the letters? If so, is it possible to get in touch with us as we are doing a wider piece on car parking tickets / invoices in town.
Oh yeah i have kept all letters so far.
I think i had a phone call about it yesterday too as when i Googled the number it appears to be a firm acting for parking notices. She got funny when i wouldn’t confirm the first line of my address so i put down the phone.
DarlofanParticipantLatest letter this morning from “solicitors” i now owe £210 and risk a further £300 costs if ticket is not paid. Oh yeah the little note at the bottom says i will also have my credit file marked as well so will be unable to get any credit in future!! They must think i came down in the last shower.
I’d love to ring them to argue it out but i believe once you ring they never leave you alone.
DarlofanParticipantYeah I think it’s a little over the top as well.
1 It’s been open for weeks
2 It’s not fully completed yet
3 We’re in a recession where councils are supposedly really struggling for money.I wonder if all these council representatives will be there when the first problems are found and it has to close for repairs.

Scroll down to TPS to see the chain of letters they send. They threaten lots but they cannot affect your credit rating etc. without firstly beating you in the small claims court. Posters on the MSE forum have filed FOI requests and cannot find any evidence of a TPS court case.
Just had my latest from TPS “bailiffs”now. At the bottom there is a paragraph in italics about not believing the hype on several internet sites as I will end up in court if I continue to ignore them.
DarlofanParticipantI hardly think they are going to find enough “not for recycling” bottles to half fill a wheelie bin are they?
If there were that many they’d leave them in the original box and leave a leaflet explaining why they haven’t taken them. After all it would be more effort for the binmen to put them in somebody elses bin than leave them in original box.
DarlofanParticipantI am ignoring them. Up to £150 at the moment with fees etc!!!
