Hello Matt Mrs Councillor X had to tell me about your post because it had the word CAFE in the title. I cannot see the picture but I bet its a really nice one of civilized gents.
I haven’t been to a pub yet and in no rush to until it is safe. I do the face thing with some of my mates but most of them have motorolas and burner phones (joke) but I only know how to do it because of youngsters on their ipods and I wear a mask.
Stay safe and keep away from the raves in the forests.

I don’t know if they still do it but the Council did group repair schemes where they fixed up rows of houses in an area.
Where I lived there was a lot of resentment because the scheme was means tested so if you were on some benefits you got the work free but if you worked or had savings your were stuffed.
You had people who owned a house but because they hid their money and worked cash in hand then they got work done for almost zero. I applied and the council wanted nearly all the money because I was working full time and Mrs Councillor X had a part time job. Too bloody honest.

I won’t say where I lived but if you look at some areas of Wrexham maelor then you can see lots of nice houses in a row and the odd one or two in a terrace with knackered old roofs and garden walls and windows falling out. You can guess which ones weren’t done and why.

Matt I told Mrs Councillor X that you want everyone to go at it like rabbits and invite a friend from overseas or another town and she said she did all that in the sixties and ain’t doin owt like that at her age. We do like JaneJ’s offer of a granny flat and if she can WhatsChat us some pictures we can move in next week.

Matt where did you get a pic of the Raglan Gang from? We were a lot slimmer back then and Fat Daz was just called Darren.

We sold the wagon to pay off our fines when we were caught smuggling Mad Dog 20/20 in from the USA.

(N)everhard could you get back on your Sega mega drive and play space invaders and let the adults talk.

Derek I love the expression “I think” when they clearly don’t think. Having to react to questions they don’t like is why the Tories refused to go on Good Morning Britain and answer to Piers Morgan. BBC is too soft. Lets make Piers a Knight.

They were Matt. But who wants to get a bus or taxi out of their area when they could pick up the virus getting there and back? Especially if they feel unwell.

I am grateful that they are testing in Wrexham.

Derek, wasn’t the invitation for just for anyone who has any symptoms of coronavirus – no matter how mild and not for Uncle Tom Cobley and all to roll up.
If i had symptoms then i would have gone but i am pretty fit for my age and feel ok plus you don’t want shielding folk or us older ones exposing ourself to people who may have symptoms.

Let them get on with it because they cannot force healthy people to go. Anything to detect COVID is a good step.

Derek, the hijacked thread was an Atherton/ Tory bashing exercise by (N)everhard and not about the work of the NHS so let the kids fight amongst themselves.

I was going to say to use the Covid 19 Spike in the Maelor thread instead but the kids have been scrapping there too.

its like that fight with the posh people in the bridget jones big knickers film.
