Matt i am sorry but i will have to withdraw your invite to join the X family for Christmas Dinner. Mrs is a bad cook anyway so its a small blessing.

On a serious note, i had to get a taxi to the Maelor and the driver was telling me how busy they are picking up from house parties as well as taking groups to Chester and Liverpool.

I would be happy to see Christmas locked down for everyone if it means surviving until the vaccine is rolled out to us all. It won’t happen. People will spread COVID far and wide and the areas with fewest cases will get a Santa shocker.

Its only ONE year! Is it too much to ask people to behave. They aren’t celebrating JC’s birthday after all.

    It makes me sad.

Sadly, there isn’t much to say with no ‘Spoons and tales I can relay abot Fat Daz (who isn’t as fat now!) We do have a WhichApp chat group but its not the same without the smell of old men, spilt drinks, soggy beermats and someone leaving for a pee every 10 minutes.

The daily Grind Matt? Pinky (Pete) uses that app a lot to chat.

Stay well, enjoy ranting and keep Grinding.

I can remember when there was a giant pothole outside Wetherspoons and poor Mrs Councillor X and her mobility scooter fell into it.

I was in such a panic but went straight out to help her after i finished my pint of Old Leghumper and a whisky chaser.

I get my modem working again and come back and find that Matt has become the camp comic on this holiday camp forum. I was supposed to be in Hafan y Môr this week social distantly irritating the red coats shouting “Hi Di Hi!” at them.
We aren’t allowed to go because of travel restrictions and bubbles but better safe than sorry. I don’t want any of us getting the Trump Virus. We can book again next year.

Do you think DerekJackson will be reading this on his iPad and laughing or has he listened to Matt and jogged on?

Wetherspoons should buy the car park and make an open air venue!

Rex Ham – Planes were new when me and the Mrs went abroad and coaches were a lot cheaper.
We used to go on the bus to Rhyl on our holidays and that took most of the day. Also I don’t talk about the Marine Lake incident in our house but it gets dragged up every time someone says Rhyl as well as the drunk donkey ..

Matt. The story of unplanned skinny dipping in Benidorm will remain with me until I die but if I say stomach bug and cleaning trunks in the waves you have an idea why.

Conde. You stick up for the snow flakes but a LOT are selfish brats who care only about themselves and not about killing their granny by ignoring social distancing and advice.

Tanist? Mrs Councillor X looks like a prune in the sun and I look like a lobster.

In the old days you went to Spain on a coach and it took 3 days and then you were in bed with the trots and came back white after another 3 days on a smelly coach.

Either my sobriety is affecting my thinking or not seeing people is makin me soft but Matt makes a lot of sense these days unlike some others on here.
We were brought up to vote Labour but now it’s anyone except the Tories. Boris took on BREXIT and soft heads went along with him because they wanted BREXIT.
SO Matt has two votes already … am sure the Spoonies would follow you if we ever meet up again. Become a councillor you got knowledge and a good head on you son.
