“We have discussed our operating plan with Public Health Wales, and they do not require us to take any further action at this time. The Test, Trace Protect information is available to the contact tracing team, should they wish to use it.”

One would hope the Test and Track information has already been handed over. As for the comment “should they wish to use it “ , it sounds flippant and shows a lack of understanding in how important tracing is to prevent a wider spread in the community. Hopefully our Council and Councillors will make sure Test and Track takes place swiftly. As a licensed premises the Council hold the power to close establishments down if necessary.

There are people on Facebook actually mentioning how they were in that Wetherspoons within the last week qnd people are suggesting to them they might need to get a test or self isolate and they are refusing. This is why Wrexham has such a problem with new infections.

We are really relying on Wetherspoons having a comprehensive register of people who have been into their establishment over the past week or so, presume they wouldn’t allow anyone in who didn’t give their details.

I have been there a couple of times, their has been a member of staff on the door giving out instructions to customers. You either fill in a form or scan a code onto your mobile phone.

Lets hope those that are contacted by TTP do as requested and self isolate- it is worrying that that some people may not do as requested and put the rest f us at risk,
