Are the seats intended for the parents or more specifically grandparents waiting whilst the children are on the sit on toys. Two or more children can involve quite a wait.
It would be better if there was a dedicated drop off point where the older children could be dropped off and left instead of parents hanging around until the bell goes. It is really only the very young who need their parents hanging around for any length of time.
Have you noticed that the people who ridicule NIMBY’s are the people who aren’t threatened with having huge new housing estates or prisons or pig farms etc in their back yards. Would any of these people hold up their hands and say that they do indeed live on Gresford Road?
As James didn’t answer my query I had to do some research. I note that Llay comes into 3 areas. Since the model village was the original village of Llay, I would think that as they are council owned, that they are due to be updated. Well some of them anyway. Would you let me know where to find which villages are tagged as deprived please James as I notice that all over the county, where there are council houses, that solar panels have been introduced. Does that mean that all council estates are classified as deprived? Genuine question as I don’t know the answer or where to look.
If one of the parents is only be able to take a holiday out of term time due to the nature of his/her business, should children not be allowed to take a holiday with both parents? I don’t agree with children having time off school unnecessarily but there are such things as exceptional circumstances. Perhaps a 7 or 10 day leeway should be given per year based on those circumstances. After all there are outward bound breaks, skiing holidays, language trips to France or Germany & so on in term time.
I do have family living in Llay who I care very deeply about. You asked questions & I looked up answers.
