Surely, If our councillors have any sense at all they would put an end to any future road works in the town centre.
I can’t see any point in making matters worse with them horrible paving slabs they’ve put down. Spend the money on something that really needs doing. You only have to walk past the pound bakery to see the mess the pavements are in.
It started dying from when the units first took out their 10 year lease. A shopping retail centre which is a wind tunnel with no roof was dead in the water before trading began. Along with Ty Pawb it is an eyesore on the town.
Developers should have looked at the prospects of developing the town centre with parking facilities around the
edge of the town. It says a lot when even coffee shops and pound stores pull out.
Could be JD’s or Direct. I’m waiting to see what arrangements have been made for parking for people moving into to 50 odd flats there. Also bin collections will be fun too, in the town centre it’s bad enough now.
