sorry you seemed to have missed my point; The only choice you have is vote for a political party or not. All current ones except the greens which I know little about, are proven to be corrupt to the very core.
As has been famously said “if you’re not part of the solution, you are part of the problem” that is a misquote!!!

I despise people who are eligible to vote, not voting.
In the main, they are the very ones who do the most complaining when things go wrong or not as they would like them to.
It would be interesting to find out whether the habitual dissenting contributors to this forum bother to get off their backsides and put their cross on the ballot paper on voting days.

If their was someone/something worth voting for then people would vote example….( Scottish referendum) As it is I for one do not want to be complicate in the charade know as politics.
As for the “habitual dissenting contributors” voting habits, I would suspect they would be more likely to abstain from putting an x in a box, on the grounds that they question things a bit more than most.

Out of my family of 4, my 2 children aged 30 and 25 have never voted, my wife votes if she has time? and I always vote. I think a lot of the younger people cant be bothered to vote.

    Can’t be bothered to vote!
What is the point in voting ? you can either vote for corrupt, dishonest and deceitful people or not vote at all.
I think the younger generation understand this more which is why they don’t vote.
When parliament starts representing peoples views and not corporate interests then sane people will vote .

Been told that if you walk around the town with a traffic cone on your head, the signal on your phone wouldn’t improve, but I might stand a better chance of not running you over the next time you cross the road with it, oblivious

Reading some posts on this forum…
The streets are a mess, sick everywhere!. Junkies all over the place. Police like the German SS. Bloody roadworks gridlocking the town. Travelers holidaying in the parks. Charging for taking recycling waste. Don’t let the school children on buses. Shut the leisure center. Change allegiance.

    Why change?….

Ladies, if a man says he will fix it, he will. There’s no need to remind him every six months about it.

    Yes indeed it does Katia.
In answer to BenjaminM. “I think an explanation as to why you THINK that the author of the report displayed a bias.” Bias is an inclination of temperament or outlook to present or hold a partial perspective, often accompanied by a refusal to even consider the possible merits of alternative points of view.
This is apparent throughout the report, I only read it as entertainment, but after reading such a one sided opinion I was intrigued to know more about the author. Now I know more I understand more.
“in addition, perhaps you would also clarify who you consider would have been appropriate to carry out the investigation – without bias.”
Someone with no connections to either side, would be a good starting point.
” I have read, certain AM’s were alleged to have visited Wrexham to call for his reinstatement as it was an embarrassment to Welsh Labour Party.
Even they must have seen some truth in the report to take such a step.”
I think the key word here is alleged.

“In the past – Director of Children and Young Peoples Services Nottinghamshire County Council and other consultancy type work.”

    That probably explains her bias.
