Civic Society Meeting

The Wrexham Area Civic Society invites you to its meeting at The Museum. There will be a presentation entitled “THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE WREXHAM MUSEUM”, to be given by Steve Grenter, who is the Heritage Services Manager at Wrexham CBC. This will be followed by a tour of the museum. The meeting is open to all, and is free. Find out more of the activities of the Society at the meeting.

Boxercise

Junior Boxercise

Take part in a 45 minute work out for all abilities in this new, fun filled exercise at Queensway Stadium.

Chirk – Skip Day

There will be a skip situated on the green in Bronywaun on this day for the disposal of all large bulky items you wish to dispose of. You can also bring along any other items. Should you require any assistance with large items, please contact the Plas Madoc Estate Office on 01978 813000 prior to this date. This skip day has been organised by the Housing Department of Wrexham County Borough Council with the support of Councillors Ian Roberts and Terry Evans.

National Care Leavers Week Open Day

An Open Day to all Looked After Children, Foster Carers, Care Leavers and anyone who has had experience of being in care. This day is dedicated to providing you with the advice and guidance needed to find out 1-2-1 about university – your course options, what you need to get in, financial information including our Care Leaver support package, accommodation etc. Booking required so that we can have academics on hand to talk about any specific subject areas you might have in mind. This event is in line with the university’s Buttle UK Quality Mark showing our commitment to Care Leavers.
