A Wrexham woman has launched an online appeal after her wedding and engagement rings were stolen from her home while she slept on Monday night.

Earlier today Wrexham.com were contacted by the owner of the rings, Annette, who told us that they were stolen overnight on Monday after burglars broke into her home in Ponciau.

The rings themselves have sentimental value, with Annette stating that she is widowed and the rings are ‘irreplaceable’ to her.

In a post on Facebook, which has already been shared over 1,000 times, Annette wrote: “Could I ask you to share this post and ask anyone who may have been offered them or who knows where they may be to message me please no questions asked.

“The photos are not identical but very close. My Wedding Ring is damaged – caught on a door handle and pulled into a “V” shape which was in danger of snapping which is why I wasn’t wearing them.

“Please share in the Wrexham area especially around Caia Park area if possible as this is where my iPad was found. Thank you – I am desperate for their return.”
