Wales Air Ambulance kneads you to rise to the challenge for Coffee and Cake fundraiser!

Wales Air Ambulance ‘kneads’ you, its supporters, to help raise some ‘dough’ with a brand-new event.

The life-saving charity has launched its first-ever ‘Coffee and Cake’ fundraiser, which will take place in March.

The events aims to to help raise the £11.2 million that is needed every year to keep the helicopters in the air and rapid response vehicles on the road.

Supporters are being asked ‘get together’ and host their very own Coffee and Cake party on behalf of the lifesaving service.

The brand-new event will take place throughout the month of March to mark the 23rd anniversary of the all-Wales Charity, and enables participants to choose a time and place that suits them.

Whether a gathering with friends and family, a party in your school or office, this event is open to everyone – both online and in person.

Tracey Breese, Events and Partnership Fundraiser for the Wales Air Ambulance said: “We are calling on our wonderful supporters to help us, once again, to make this newly launched event a huge success.

“Coffee and Cake is an exciting new fundraiser for the Charity, which is aimed at everyone.

“Why not use this opportunity to get together as a family or to meet with old friends whilst raising vital funds for the Wales Air Ambulance.

“Everyone enjoys a catch up with a slice of cake, and what a wonderful way to hold a fundraising event – whether you’re part of a community group, school, business or as an individual.

“If you’re celebrating a special occasion in March and want to do something good for charity you could even hold the Coffee and Cake event then to mark that special milestone.”

Those who sign up to host their own Coffee and Cake fundraiser to ‘bake’ a difference, will receive special access to a host of fundraising materials, which includes a fundraising pack, digital resources, invitations, posters and cake labels.

If you want to have your cake and eat it, you can register via the Wales Air Ambulance website. Registrations made during the month of March will not receive a fundraising pack, however the organiser will have access to the Charity’s digital resources.
