Updated: Traffic returns to normal after crashon Llay New Road / Plas Acton Road junction

Updated: Traffic in the area has returned to normal and the incident has been resolved.

Original: Police are asking motorists to avoid Llay New Road this rush hour after a crash on the Pandy junction.

The two vehicle incident has taken place on Llay New Road near junction for Plas Acton Road.

Police say, “Please avoid the area, and if you are on the road, pass with care whilst we await vehicle recovery. The area is likely to remain congested for some time.”

One driver who has been caught in queues told us the road is ‘backed up past Bradley junction’.
