City of Wrexham Brass Band to host special D-Day Anniversary concert

The City of Wrexham Brass Band are to host a special concert commemorating the 80th anniversary of D-Day.

The special event will take place at the Wrexham War Memorial Hall, on Bodhyfryd, on Friday 7 June.

This special event will honour the bravery and sacrifice of those who served, featuring emotive brass melodies that echo through history.

The City of Wrexham Brass Band will be accompanied by the enchanting vocals of Francesca Hughes,

A spokesperson said: “The evening promises to be a poignant tribute to our heroes.

“Experience the power of music as we come together to pay homage to the indomitable spirit of courage and resilience that defined a generation.

“Don’t miss this unforgettable evening of remembrance and reflection.”
