The ever popular Offa carnival will be held on Saturday in Bellevue Park.

Community Councillor Alex Jones said, “Offa carnival will be held in Bellevue Park on Saturday (15th July) from 11am, there will be fairground rides, a dog show, a whole range of stalls and some great food and drink.

“There will be live entertainment from the Clwyd Axemen, Dangerous Steve, Birds of Prey and much more.

He added, “The event has been going for many years and always proves to be a good day out.. last year saw record numbers attend and we hope that the weather will be kind and allow everyone to join us this Saturday.”

“This years carnival is extra special, as our Clerk Karen Benfield will be retiring after this carnival, Karen has served Offa for many years (25 I think). On behalf of Offa Community Council I would like to thank Karen and wish her a happy retirement, and if she’s ever at a loose end she will always be welcome to join us on a hybrid meeting as I know they’re her favourites!”
