Man Arrested By Barkers Lane In Prompt Police Burglary Response
Police responded quickly this afternoon, including the use of the police helicopter, to an area around Barkers Lane.
Several people got in touch to say they were very aware of the police helicopter being ‘lower than usual’ over the Borras and Acton areas.
It is believed the police were responding to a possible burglary in the area.
Wrexham.com observed four police cars around Lisburne Grove and Sherwell Avenue area and police officers conducting enquires on Barkers Lane by the mini roundabout.
There were also several locals being interviewed by officers, with cars parked outside a number of houses around the area.
The police cars left the area at just after 3pm, with officers remaining at one house nearby along with what appeared to be sniffer dogs.
North Wales Police have told us they responded at 14:17 to reports of three men acting suspiciously in the area, with one person being arrested.
The police helicopter was used to aide the search for the men.
