‘Armed Police’ Attend Early Morning Incident in Caia Park

A road in Caia Park is closed this morning following reports ‘armed police’ are currently attending an incident in the area. 

Reports of police activity in the Caia Park area came through shortly after 8am this morning, with reports locally that ‘armed police’ are in the area – however this has yet to be confirmed.

Several police vehicles are in attendance at the incident, along with an ambulance.

The incident temporarily resulted in diversions to Arriva’s 7 and 8 service through Caia Park – however Arriva have since confirmed that service has returned to normal.

A spokesperson for North Wales Police has since confirmed they were called to an incident in the Caia Park area at 7:40am this morning and that the incident has now been resolved.
