I have always wondered why there were no food stalls in the People’s Market. I like the Country Market stall and have followed them to different places around the town. The People’s Market is an ideal place for them mainly because they are indoors and warm but also the central location gives buyers easy access to their excellent produce. They are always busy on a Friday and if you don’t get there early you may find they have sold out!

A very interesting article in the Daily Post today ( can anyone do a link?). Besti Cadwaladr say approximatly 36 babies per year would need a level 3 unit but some information from elsewhere suggests the number may be nearer 140. Surely there must be accurate figures for North Wales !

Anyone else noticed the groups of neatly packed shiny black plastic bags along the new road by the golf club netting? What do they contain ?

You are right , there is not even a proper bus stop where a bus can pull off the highway. When the bus stops at the bus-stop by Debenhams it blocks the traffic on the highway every time . Who do you blame, the developer for using every last inch for retail or the planning authority for allowing a 21st Century development to go ahead without provision for buses , coaches and taxis?

Despite a 15 million pound bailout Betsi Cadwaladr will still have a black hole in their finances to the tune of 19 million pounds by 31st March 2013! The question is are they being starved of finance or are they profligate with spending? Unless very detailed accounts were published we are not in a position to decide. The problem is when people have financial difficulties they do not necessarily make the best long term decisions they often panic and do things to give immediate relief!

Aled Roberts has joined forces with Darren Millar and Ann Jones to try and prevent the neonatal units moving to Arrowe Park. In their letter to Lesley Griffiths they point out that services in Arrowe Park do not currently meet national guidelines. Why would Bestsi Cadwaladr even consider sending our neonatal’s to such a unit?

Well Tesco seem to think Wrexham is on the up. The fresh meat counter today had a full finest rib of beef priced at over £90.
