Another excellent article in the Daily Post today in the form of a Q&A session with the Health Board. Seems they agree with much of what has been said on here. Are we all so wrong?

    Link anyone ?

Completely off the topic but adding finely grated carrot to the bolognese sauce while it is cooking is another good way of ” hiding” vegetables!

The counter staff in Wrexham’s Barclays Bank are friendly, very helpful and provide a good service.

The truck was not a council one as the livery was yellow and grey.

Good write up about last nights’s meeting ,for once it looks like everyone is singing from the same hymn sheet. What a huge difference can be made when the Council and businesses work together. Wrexham is a market town and we should be proud of that. Markets are here to stay but they will have to evolve to suit the modern shopping environment and the desire for niche, local and bespoke products among the everyday staples.

For those who have not read the report all the way through , the town’s indoor markets are NOT under threat. The Council obviously considered all options but have come down firmly on the side of improving our indoor markets and attracting new traders. All of Wrexham indoor markets are open for business !

Some indoor markets have some day traders and themed days. Local produce, handmade crafts and bric-a-brac for example. Plenty of variety helps to improve footfall in the markets which helps all the traders.
