You are a legend.
feedshallowParticipantHMP Carchar anyone! I always did like a bit of tautology.
feedshallowParticipant
I agree the prison no one wanted … only the
planning committee persuaded councillors ..
If South Wales had wanted it .. it would not have
been directed to wrexham (lower case deliberate).Might I suggest … ‘BANGED UP’ :)
Why ‘lower case deliberate’?

So, now convicted and thus free to be spoken of.
Who is this teacher ? At what school was she allowed to teach and direct children ? Was she suspended … on full pay … For the months between arrest and the verdict ? Has she/will she now be sacked ?
… oh, given the scale of what she did and the role of trust she was abusing just HOW did this result in a suspended sentence?

feedshallowParticipantLet’s offer our support to the MPs who HAVEN’T signed up to the Frack Free Promise. I for one would love to see cheaper energy and fuel costs. We still have untapped seams of coal here in Wales and yet we buy in from abroad. If trouble with Russia sees them turning off the gas pipeline then we’ll need the ample supply of shale gas beneath our feet. Forget all this ‘green’ nonsense. It can only mean dearer and dearer energy costs. Get fracking and go nuclear.

Thanks for your in depth consideration of my question. I was thinking more along the lines of the financial issues. Would Wrexham gain or lose fiscally by attaining city status?
feedshallowParticipantJust wondering – would anyone be willing to list the pros and cons of city status for Wrexham?
feedshallowParticipantSeeing as the OP Jane Jordan is so interested in the cost to Wrexham ratepayers of the cost of the Coke Truck’s visit to Wrexham should she not show some concern into how much her (22 to date) FOI requests have already cost us?

feedshallowParticipantJust paid £2 to park under the John Lewis store in the Capitol Centre Cardiff. To hear that to park for the same amount of time under Eagles Meadow in Wrexham will cost me £5 beggars belief. I think someone needs to sort out their priorities or Wrexham town centre will quite rightly become a ghost town.
feedshallowParticipantI shouldn’t have to check the school’s twitter feed. If I can have the original leaflet delivered then I should have had the English/Welsh leaflet delivered also.
According to the headteacher this has been posted. No it hasn’t as far as I can see.
As to the rest of your remarks – who cares? -
