Green Party selects Tim Morgan as parliamentary candidate for Wrexham constituency

Tim Morgan has been selected to be the Green Party candidate in Wrexham at the next General Election.

In the announcement the party note that Tim grew up in Wrexham and still lives close by, saying he ‘is a frequent visitor to the town as a Wrexham AFC season ticket holder. Growing up in Wrexham made Tim aware of the impact of the huge inequalities that exist in Wales’.

Tim himself said, “Wrexham gave me opportunities of sport, music and education and friendships that have lasted a lifetime.”

Adding, “A vote for the Green Party will bring the people of Wrexham and future generations the best opportunity to achieve the greatest quality of life, both individually and collectively through an emphasis on social justice and environmental sustainability.”

For the election in 2019 six candidates stood to be MP, including the Green Party.

The election will be held no later than 24 January 2025.
