bobo the clownParticipantFemale Walter White turns her family home into a drug factory
So, now convicted and thus free to be spoken of.
Who is this teacher ? At what school was she allowed to teach and direct children ? Was she suspended … on full pay … For the months between arrest and the verdict ? Has she/will she now be sacked ?
… oh, given the scale of what she did and the role of trust she was abusing just HOW did this result in a suspended sentence?

Ahh a daily mail reader say no more
Why wouldn’t someone be suspended on full pay between arrest and verdict? Is it not a basic human right and cornerstone of international law that one is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law?

MetalheadParticipantIt’s not really a case of boarding the Daily Fail’s outrage bus more of how on earth can this person remain as a teacher? All I know is when I was 15 or so outdoor breaktimes would have been ‘Thought you had been told to stay away from the grass Miss’ and ‘the clock strikes 12…. BONG!’ etc. etc.

bobo the clownParticipantCMAJ … no, it isn’t. Once an employer loses faith in you they have the right not to employ you. Also, the burden of proof in a Court of Law is amazingly precise and you can “get away with it” far more easily. There’s a huge difference between being innocent and not being found guilty.
Public sector employers, from Police to Councils suspend on full pay sometimes for months, even years. At some stage they should press on.
Meanwhile she now HAS been found guilty. I assume she’s out on her ear in the next couple of weeks.
…. & the usual liberal simpering of the Guardianistas of “oh it’s only in the Daily Mail” neither alters it’s accuracy nor reflects that it’s in other media too.
Not the local press … even Wrexham.com … Why is that ?

FerretParticipantThere’s no apostrophe in “its” in the possessive form.

[/quote]Apologies. Thanks.
She surely will be barred from teaching.
Oh & Ferret. Inciteful input. That added a huge amount. Well done.

SheefagParticipantFerret’s point stands, however.
