Captain CParticipantHis so called extended holiday was when his wife took ill and they could not fly home. Please check facts and not listen to gossip in the housing office. As I said before Terry Boland is a worker with his heart in the right place with respect to Llay and Wrexham.
Captain CParticipantWith his health problems over the last year he has missed a lot of meetings but the man works flat out for the village of Llay and is a credit to County Councilors in the Wrexham area.
This close to the elections he does not have to stand down and I believe in local elections you should vote for the man (or woman) and not the party.

Captain CParticipantIf you want to see what this council are trying to push under the mat try clicking on the following link and then click on the consultation portal link.
https://www.wrexham.gov.uk/english/planning_portal/plan_policy/local_development_plan_new.htm
Loads of mistakes and lots of devious areas that planning is trying to add. In Llay there is a major plot of land that the owners did not know had been included and were never consulted and are now worried about compulsory purchase being made.
The portal is not user friendly but just look up were you live and then check your blood pressure as you will be shocked.
Captain CParticipantIn my life time Wrexham has lost many beautiful buildings and this is history repeating it self.
Save the quality buildings such as the Grove Park School for future generations and for Gods sake council officers listen to the people who vote at the elections or you will be out of work before you know it.
Captain CParticipantFor years the District Nurses have had to go on there pairs, one to treat the patient and one to stay in the car. This is a historic problem and authorities keep sweeping it under the carpet.

Captain CParticipantI am proud to be Welsh and also British and sing both National Anthems with pride. Wales is a wonderful country and we should be proud of our heritage.
Captain CParticipantOK, I will try one last time with you Sheefag.
Have you read the reports that are on the council planning web site and have you read the agenda report that was put on line on Friday. I suspect that you have not or you would not be coming up with these negative and insulting statements all the while. If you do not live in the locality then it’s not your place to demean this discussion.
Captain CParticipantOK Sheefag you’ve had your opinionated statement now please just crawl back into your shell and leave this forum to people who care and are involved. This effects everyone living in Llay and the amount of opposition is amazing.
Captain CParticipantThose are the facts and we have documentation to support them. We have spent 12months getting the facts together and even the points such as the fields sinking we have photos to back this up. The case officer for this has changed his story so many times and is just trying to feather his own nest/job with solving the housing shortage at the expense of others.
I’m sure you know the area as well as anyone and can see how this would ruin what is a great place to live. If this goes through there is a syndicate based in London who own the other side of the Straight Mile (purchased for £16,000 per acre) and are waiting to pounce if this goes through, fact not an opinion.
Captain CParticipantTHE FACTS ARE the infrastructure of Llay can not take this development, the roads can not cope with the extra traffic, the schools have no extra spaces, the doctors surgery state that they can not cope with an extra 1000+ people, the fields along the Straight Mile and Gresford Road are sinking and get flooded, the soakaway report states that water after a storm should disperse by 50% over a 24 hour period but not even 1% dispersed in that time, the new estate is outside the settlement boundries for Llay and goes against their own LDP, traffic will increase even more when the new police headquarters opens and Llay will be changed forever losing farm land and increasing the population by 20%. THOSE ARE THE FACTS AND ANECDOTES.
