Vinci Car Parking Charges

Perhaps if our Councillors and Chief Officers had to pay for their parking in the Town Centre they might have a better understanding of the situation,especially when they attend a meeting goes on for more than two hours , as many of their car parks have a maximum stay of only two hours. On the other hand it might lead to shorter meetings!!!

Around mid day today numbers on Vinci car park were red 382,yellow 363 out of 900 spaces free, so only 17% occupancy. Wonder when the penny will drop that by reducing their prices they might actually take more money !

And this is on a Market Day which is supposed to be one of the heaviest footfall days in town-
Remove all the youngsters from town and you would be in danger f hearing a pin drop as it would be so quiet.

Rumour has it Vinci might want out of their contract at EM. Sounds a bit far fetched to me but who knows.

Do they refund all of it ? If you pay for four hours at £8.70 that’s over 40% of £20 ?

What a mistake again by Wrexham giving it to them…

On a brighter note I see the Broughton Park development is coming on, 10 minutes or so down the road and free parking :):)
