The best ones seem to have a theme or competition . I have often wondered why the Wrexham Sausage Championship is not held during the food festival. The winner could be by a public vote!

It is losing money and is not well used so it has to go. They have missed a golden opportunity by not experimenting with the route. It failed because it did not bring enough people into the centre, therefore the route should have been altered. What would have happened if they included the hospital, university and the four main supermarkets on the route on a Hop On Hop Off service?

Saith Seren have already brought a building that was in decline back to vibrant use, hopefully they can do the same for the old cinema.

£3 , about the cost of a coffee in a national chain, is enough money to buy food for a simple meal. Finding a way to get the money to the people who really need it is the problem. A free coffee doesn’t really help,an empty belly.

Buckley are to follow Wrexham’s lead with a bring ” Blackpool to Buckley ” themed event on August 18th that will include a beach, funfair and donkey rides!
