What was the ” differentiated approach” ? Do you mean setting of pupils ?
Even though we have had sunshine today there is still snow lying in gardens around the town. It would be interesting to date when it finally melts.
The Country Market stall in the People’s Market continues to do well and attracts more people into the market on Friday’s. Has the offer been made to other local producers to join them on a Friday in the People’s Market? A wonderful opportunity to make Friday’s Local Products Day. Another way of raising footfall and generating more custom for everyone in the market.
Well over £1000 now, what a brilliant effort from a couple of sixteen year olds ( and all those who supported them ) Just shows what effort and determination can achieve.
The people of Wrexham need to believe in themselves more and create an ethos of aspiration. Negativity is very destructive and spreads an air of gloom. The same happens in schools ” we are not very good” so why bother, the downward spiral starts and is difficult to stop / change. Attitude is all important, much can be achieved with a positive attitude and a bit of effort. It is our town and it is up to all of us to make it a good place to live, work and relax in.
I see fencing has been erected around the newer part of the Groves site in preparation for the demolition of the buildings. I wonder what will happen to the remaining building?
They are up to £892.25 on their Just Giving page , an excellent effort for an extremely worthwhile cause the Teenage Cancer Trust.
I think it is going to be around Queen’s Square with Llwyn Isaf being used for music and picnics. Everyone is questioning spending £2500 on a week’s effort to encourage trade to our town but no mention of spending £5000 on an open top bus to celebrate the Football Club’s cup win , which will be over in half a day.
