It’s almost like Chillddoubt doesn’t understand that not all ill and/or disabled people can just organise grocery deliveries. Some will find a way, no doubt, but the ‘ill’ and ‘dis’ parts can make it difficult or impossible. They still need to eat.

Even if grocery deliveries are arranged for all vulnerable people, vigilantism will create more problems than it solves, as Matt has pointed out.

Btw, how are public vigilantes going to differentiate between those breaking the rules and those with disability and/medical exemptions?

It is EVERYONES responsibility to point out those who are infringing and ignoring the rules, that’s why we’ve ended up in the current crisis.

I thought it was because ‘Britain’s Trump’ ignored WHO advice and instead got Serco to bungle ‘test, trace and isolate.’

We could have done something similar to countries like Vietnam or New Zealand, but no, the Eton educated marvels at Downing Street knew better.

Very thorough and very well argued, Matt.

He’s an established qualified virologist. I seek out expert opinions.

“Musings of an anonymous, pissed off virologist.”

This is a virus with a known propensity to mutate. Semi-immunising people for 12 weeks seems staggeringly dangerous to me.

Well, Stanley Johnson has had the second part of the vaccine before many vulnerable people have had the first.

So I guess the importance of timing is not lost on them after all.

The vaccine isn’t going to be fully effective unless the second part is given at the right time.

I just hope the WAG recognise this, even if the outfit run by ‘Britain’s Trump’ do not.

The Welsh government may not be perfect, but I feel much safer living in Wales under Drakeford and co than I would in England under ‘Britain’s Trump.’

What was it that his star adviser had to say on handling this pandemic?

“Herd immunity, protect the economy and if that means some pensioners die, too bad.’

Who else was a star adviser on No 10’s staff? Andrew Sabisky, a known eugenist.

So no, I won’t be shaking a fist at the WAG because they didn’t arrange for a vaccine to sweep down on targeted homes by magic carpet.
