How? By voting against May’s clown car crash of a deal?

Ian Lucas has been asking the same question, but Mark Pritchard treats Mr Lucas as the villain of the piece for being rude about his staff and ‘not getting his facts right’(though he doesn’t go to the trouble of enlightening us about which facts he’s got wrong.) A master class in messenger-shooting and victim-blaming, while homeless people freeze.

Universal Credit is one of the main causes. It’s paid in arrears, and landlords will often not wait for 5 weeks for the rent. UC needs to be scrapped.

Well, it’s what people voted for when they voted Conservative. They’re the party of austerity cuts aren’t they?

The problem I see in the town is all that alcohol related violence and disorder. A&E is often packed with the consequences.

I wish they would just get on with legalising it. The A&Es are not stuffed with weed users on Friday and Saturday nights. Some of these drugs could be great for medicinal use too, but because people can only think in black and white, legal or illegal, we’re not moving on.

Don’t they understand that homeless people die on the streets in cold weather?

Janey, because they waited to be seen by triage and then left. Some of them said they were told to go.

I was in A&E a few months ago and they were sending quite a lot of people home, about a third, I would guess.
