I bought mince pies especially for a candidate but no one has come so will keep for the real bearer of gifts and good cheer as I know he will call on Christmas Day!

The irony of the Eastern European workers coming to Wrexham is it is them that have kept many production lines business going on the industrial estate working side by side Welsh, English and other nationalities. The risk now is that as some of them decide to go back to a home country there will not be enough workers in the area to keep production going and the whole business closes making everyone unemployment.
Before anyone says ‘our’ existing unemployed will take up the jobs – you must be joking anyone who is serious about work is able to get a job in the area as we have so many vacancies- (more than the number of registered unemployed).
Any significant exodus of foreign workers will be devastating for business and the provision of health and social care.
Wrexham like many other areas just does not have enough people with skills to maintain all the necessary workplaces and contribute to the local economy (yes, every one of them will be paying taxes and buy food locally)

Is Sarah Atherton a true Conservative? Having heard and seen some of her comments in the media – does she really back all of Boris’s plans – does not look like, does she believe in all of the Manefesto – most certainly not.

If elected she should be reminded of all her non Conservative comments she has made in the campaign and see if she sticks with her personal beliefs.

Excellent news- about time young people were taken seriously – they are not restricted with what they say – they are not like many adults who are too polite to ask some of the awkward questions, they also won’t be tarnished with historic type family voting.

Most Political Parties have ignored young people for so long- they will be shocked at how good young people will be on using Social Media to raise issues and motivate YP to go and vote.

Give young people the credit they deserve- free thinkers that deserve a voice for their future.

Let the new face of politics start asap.

Irrespective who sid what / when etc the key issue to be questioned is why the Leader of the Council chose to bypass the Councils own Constituion for dealing with complaints via their own Standards Committee. This seems to be more about political point scooring by the Independents and an others.
To embark on a pathway that someone is guilty and go stright to the judge reflects the total lack of democracy

A key question to all candidates is-
What do they know about the Barnet formula?
What have both Labour and Conservatives ever done over the past 20 plus years to get the Barnet formula revised? (this is so antiquated and needs amending to bring up to date)
What can the candidates confirm will happen in Wales with the funding announced by Boris and Jeremy? Have they even spoken with Welsh Government–
So far Wales is not being given any true consideration in the election campaign from the mainstream Parties- with the lack of input into Wales post the election how can the elctoarte of Wales know what outcome they are voting for

Excellent no cost to Council (or ratepayers) all they need to do is a few posters with a QR code or the web address-

The real pity is that the Council have not taken into account the members of the public and those in the pared with no Order of Service for people to join in- the have been told time and time again to print more – surely a couple of hundred pounds is available in the budget or perhaps the Mayors fund.
Really good to see so many young people still taking part – as the older numbers drop off through age those involved with young people’s organisations should be proud of their contingents.
Come on Wrexham Council make this a day for everyone to remember and take part in- sound and leaflets

So it looks like the local Laour Party may not have acted in a democratic way – how on earth are the local electorate going to accept any candidate if there is distrust from within their own membership. Unless someone knows something different I assume the actual vote at the hustings was ‘rigged’ then Mary must have come over as the best so should now be supported.
All the wingers need to get in their box and start getting behind THEIR candidite and get on the road to convince others that Labour actually has something to offer for getting Brexit over the line.
