No VIP’s or cause for concern – police convoy training taking place this week

If you are on the roads this week you may see mysterious convoys with police escorts zipping around.

There are no VIP visits, nor emergency transfers taking place, rather it is officers from the North Wales Police Driving School based at Police HQ in Colwyn Bay doing some real world training.

Previously when they have taken place people often get in touch to discover what is going or, or who is inside the escorted vehicle.

North Wales Police have said this morning: “Don’t be alarmed if you see lots of police cars and motorbikes travelling together from today onwards – our Driving School are running a convoy course all week across the region.”
