A number of ‘mystery’ police convoys have been seen travelling through Wrexham over the past few days – with several readers getting in touch to find out if there is a ‘VIP’ visiting the town.

Yesterday a convoy was seen heading past the Rhosddu Road roundabout and down Grosvenor Road, with the Lemon Tree sending us the below video. However with the current roadworks on Regent Street / bottom of Grosvenor Road, we did point out you need a convoy to get through the traffic there at the moment!

Earlier this morning North Wales Police tweeted to say that convoy training was taking place this week – so sadly there is no surprise VIP visits currently taking place in the area…..!
