I am concerned about Cllr Barbara Roxburgh’s comments too. Not for this, but because there has been a long line of other ill informed gaffs during her short council career. She is more than likely to be the next Mayor and she didn’t get the nickname of ‘Bungle Barbara’ in the council chambers for her being a fan of the TV Childrens’ show Rainbow.

Do we have Wrexham’s answer to the Duke of Edinburgh, if by some unfortunate stroke of luck she was to become Mayor?

Wrexham could become a laughing stock.

I agree Phil Wynn does seem to be trying to be a councillor and a representative of his ward. Full marks to him.

That is my point who is Cllr Barbara Roxburgh as far as this forum goes ?

Do you think that Councillors or Council officials should put their own name to posts on this forum on certain topics ?

I take it there are a few posting on this forum as alias’s.

As far as I know there is only one that does “Cllr Phil Wynn” although I don’t know him or of him really, at least he has the bottle to put his real name to his views.

I think it should certainly be an offence to chuck a young lady with a mobile through a car window.
What has the world come to.

But only me saw it, or is it seen.. ! :D:D:D

Back to the old chestnut, litter, dangerous driving, mobile phones the list is endless, who practically will enforce all this offending?
I only went half a mile down the road this morning and saw someone chucking something out of a car and a young lady on a mobile..

That’s sounds like very odd reasoning.
If they were concerned about members of the public being injured by their vans, surely banning people themselves rather than their vehicles from entering the property would have solved that.

Yea I know I thought that at the time,

It was apparently to do with people walking from their cars, and once they got out of the cars then crossing the car park in all sorts of directions, and with all the vans up and down, it was hard to control, but now there are areas clearly marked out to walk along and if anyone strays off it is their fault…..

    It’s a fair question.

ummmm Would you have asked the same question if the statement read as below for example ??

This kind of reminds me of the time, a few years ago, when a BMW pulled up by me when I was outside the TSB on Priory Street, with two WELSH gentlemen inside.
One rolled down the window and asked if I wanted to buy a watch for £50.
I declined of course, but it just goes to show that these people are out there.

There is no doubt youngsters do have it hard getting started today, but it was pretty much the same back in the day :D its just they want everything straight away these days.

There is an article in the Times today that is saying that pensioners are getting benefits on the back of youngsters suffering, but as The Monitor says older people have earned and paid for all these benefits over the course of their lives, (or most of them) and if you notice no government is proposing to get rid of the bus pass ;);)
