I’ll ask again. Maybe in more simplified way: you obviously believe this utter shite. What happened when you refused to pay your tax and where taken to court. If you didn’t challenge it, why not? Please respond with a direct answer and without directing us to yet another FOTL link.

Hogwash. Another pathetic attempt to get people to click on these links and enter the frankly deluded world of freedom of the land.

Joan, you don’t know your ‘ballocks’ from your bollocks. Hopefully, nobody felt inclined to click on the links you so desperately tried to promote. Anyone out there thinking of challenging tax or fine payments, I would urge you to seek professional legal advice and not seek a get out of jail (or debt) free card. Be responsible. Pay your way. Beware the wolf (or Hog) in sheep’s clothing.

So how did you get on when you were taken to court for not paying your tax. I’m guessing you presented your thoroughly convincing evidence and walked away, reputation intact and £1000+ better off?

still, I find it hard to feel symphathy for most of them. The 1 who threw a full beer can at my car on grosvenor road or the 2 completely drugged up weaving through town on their free bikes today or the 1 I saw shoplifting in wh smith today for instance.

[quote quote=113685]Another ill thought out and conceived ‘initiative’ from the bloody local council and inflicted on the rate payers.
What is wrong with one bin – put all the rubbish in it – empty it – simples.
If the council want to recycle garbage then fine – let them do it. We pay enough council tax as it is without having to do their bloody job for them.

Well don’t complain when they build a landfill site near you then. I don’t see the problem. Recycling is easy for us non-lazy residents who appreciate the bigger problem of not recycling and don’t hide behind the ‘why should we do their job’ rant. Boring boring. And the best bit?? The neighbours can’t see how many wine bottles I recycle!!

Re: rates statement, the rates revaluation is taking place in Wales and will be effective from April ’17.

Yes Dylan. Being a taxpayer myself, I’m aware of the tax paid v service provision equation. I was trying to make the point that whilst Wcbc or tcf provide this service, it’s taking away the impetus to tackle the irresponsible source of the problem.

This is yet another scheme of taking over a problem rather than getting to the core issue which is the Council not doing their job effectively.

Really Dylan; Is that the core issue? Surely the core issue is the need for these specialist clean up teams to exist at all, whoever they are affiliated to.
