harryParticipanti just keep walking and ignore them
harryParticipantspoke to EE level 2 tech support today, they are waiting for BT to run fibre to the mast in town to ease congestion – hence why we have signal but data doesnt work – which could take 6 months!!

Oh dear, how will we all cope!….
what a pointless comment
harryParticipantisn’t the annual feb-march bridge works due on he 483 due too in 2015? ( rossett junc this time i believe!)
harryParticipantcan you begin to imagine what it would be like if they did these road works during the week, just looking at the utter chaos today it wouldnt surprise me if the traffic was queued to oswestry if they did! Why on earth cant they just put a slip from the 483 to the A55 west, that would relieve loads of traffic, the current plan WONT work!
I went to Rhyl today it was only a last minute change of plan (before i knew about the road works) that i had to go to cowen so ended up with the ruthin – denbigh – st asaph route (which imo is quicker than going down the 55 from the post house on a normal day!!)
harryParticipantData still not work ing wrexham town centre. It worked up until 9.30 am then its dead, full signal – cant web pages etc.
harryParticipantSitting in work at my desk now, in the wrexham town centre and guess what!
FULL 3G SIGNAL BUT DATA DOESNT WORK ON EE:mad::mad::mad:
thought they told Ian Lucas it was fixed!
harryParticipantEE exc office 0800 0790032
maybe wrexham.com can contact them directly and ask what is going on
harryParticipantwell after dealing with EE exc office for a months i call today for an update only to be told – wait for it….. ‘ the technical team say there is nothing wrong and can I provide examples from the last 72 hours’.:rolleyes: (Even tho i have an email from them less than 2 weeks ago stating there is an issue with the mast.) I suggested they contact the 2 EE shops in town to ask them about the numerous complaints about the 3G data issue and to view this forum/twitter. I really have no idea what on earth is going on with EE’s internal communications. It seems it will never be resolved. Its like hitting your head against a wall.
Anyway after much discussion Ive been let out of my contract penalty free, to be fair the lady I spoke to was very polite and helpful.
So there you have it, email those email addresses and see what happens!

The facts are that 3g coverage in Wrexham town centre for Orange/T-mobile now EE used to be okay until February it is now abysmal, countless people have reported the problem to them but they keep fobbing people like yourself off with bullshit about fitting a new mast or pretending to look into an issue, a new mast would clearly need planning permission just like what Vodafone and O2 have applied for to swap out their masts in the area. Just google EE switching masts off and you will a common theme up and down the UK
Exactly, you can no longer use the internet on EE in eagles meadow, the high st, island green etc. Its totally unacceptable. The EE exc office ARE aware of this as they have given me 25% off my bill until the ‘mast is fixed’, however given the my contract with them ends next month I think it was more to shut me up probably thinking i will leave the network then.
I do believe they have switched off a mast, as the coverage is still 5 bars so their coverage checker is still correct, but the remaining mast(s) cant cope and are over loaded. When I use 3G data at say 7am its fast (speed test results of around 5Meg down) but soon as the town starts to fill up with workers and shoppers it just doesnt work at all.
During the day I have to switch data off because the battery on my phone drains so fast as its trying to send/rec data, update the weather etc but it cant!
6 months plus and still to have this problem is just not on. The next step I feel is to go to ofcom.
The only way I got any info from EE was to email all these chief execs in one email, I suggest others do the same, we might get somewhere!
