OK, time for a maths lesson here.

365 houses means about 1200 people, add that to the 5000 and that comes to 6200. The Legion want to relocate and use the land for houses to at least another 400 people and now we reach 6600 and then with the extra affordable housing by the school and community centre maybe another 400, WOW we have just reached 7,000.

Rhosrobin applications in the pipe line 500 houses so most likely 1500+ so in the region of Llay and the Llay New Road area we are talking on an increase of just over 3000 extra beings to find doctors, school places, transport for.

The problem with petitions regardless of how many signatures are on it, it only counts as one objection. If you want the planning office to take notice everyone needs to write in and object.

I’ve met Ian Lucas a number of times and although I did not vote for him I find him a very nice person.

It’s not the country you should worry about, it’s the planet.

I’m very sure that it’s correct and could show photographs ranging back over 40 years that show the fields flat and even Mrs Crewe from the Home Farm (the people who want to build there) commented that she remembers the fields when they were flat. Locals also tell of the Straight Mile not so long ago being flat and not undulating as it does now.
When the bypass was being built a level ranging test was taken looking across the vale (there is a level set up point at the top of Gresford Church) and it was stated that the Vale had sunk by 6ft since they took the readings in the 30s.

The short answer to that is YES. We obtained the records from the NCB and it clearly passes under the proposed site and is the reason the why fields have sunk and that the Straight Mile is no longer flat and has a blind summit sign half way along it.

I am all for free parking (and toilets) and for the good of the shops etc’ in Caergwrle I hope it remains free.

My list of business’ in Caergwrle was to point out that there is a lot to go to there for and should be supported by us all.

On saying that the car park is usually full and I suspect some of the cars are owned by folk traveling into Wrexham by train as it saves parking fees in town.

If the houses went ahead we would have a new shop as well so that would not work either.
