Wrexham.com will be giving full coverage of the local elections – likely quicker than any other media outlet – so get involved by checking our site, emailing [email protected] or following our twitter @wrexham !

The nominations for the Town and Community councils in Wrexham closed at midday today, and this evening Wrexham Council publicised the initial list of those standing and where for the election of county borough councillors.

From the councils data we have created the below list, so any possible errors or anomalies (such as in Smithfield, Prince William is the apparent proposer of one of the candidates) is not our fault!

Esclusham & Johnstown see a no contest, so an election there wont be held as there is only one person standing and one place to fill.

We posted a letter to ALL candidates below with a set of questions – to see who replied and what they said click here !
