Thoughts On Wrexham’s Art & Cultural Hub? I was hoping that the ugly duckling that is the People’s market could be turned into a swan, but I don’t hold much hope. Its a tall order, but at least the building won’t detract from the art work on display.

That seems to be the case, but having worked at the school there are a lot of Polish children there. I regularly heard Polish being spoken but never Welsh except in a Welsh class.

Seems to be the case for a lot of organisations in the area, but who ‘upholds’ the law in this respect?

I’ve had a Galaxy Ace mobile phone on a popular Talkmobile £7.50p per month contract for the past two years. When I contacted them to upgrade at the end of my contract, the customer services rep at Talkmobile asked if I had problems with lack of signal, calls going direct to answer phone, or unable to send picture messages. When I said I had all of these problems, the rep volunteered ‘we’ve found out that phone handset is not compatible with our network.’

According to EE’s own map there is no 4G around the area.

Better than sending officers in car and the bikes continuing to run riot on a housing estate and eventually hurt someone.

We sued to get some problems but the police stopped it. They have an operation going on in Wrexham over the summer to follow these yobs using trained cheshire Police officers on unmarked off road bikes. Have a look at: Police target illegal use of motorbikes in Wrexham

Raise this as an issue and (according their news article) they will come and try to stop it.

Not really fond of paying for a meal before I have eaten it I’m afraid. Anywhere that wants me to then I would avoid. Just what I’m used to I suppose.

Out of interest, where do people stand on being asked to leave a card behind the bar?

The Ffrwd has good food but bizarre rules. You can now pay by card but its something like £6.50 surcharge for credit cards and £2.50 for debit cards.
