Perhaps people would consider voting for her if she even had the basic decency to turn up to the local hustings and put her point across to the electorate.

Tories seem to be specialists at empty chairs at debates. Her colleague in Clwyd South was able to make it, so the fact that she couldn’t is ridiculous – something everyone will see when Wrexham.com posts the debates tonight.

Is Sarah Atherton a true Conservative? Having heard and seen some of her comments in the media – does she really back all of Boris’s plans – does not look like, does she believe in all of the Manefesto – most certainly not.

If elected she should be reminded of all her non Conservative comments she has made in the campaign and see if she sticks with her personal beliefs.
I for one welcome a free thinking public servant (extensive nursing / NHS background). Only robots agree with absoultly everything their party commits themselves too. She has expressed her own views without fear or favour and this should be welcomed by all local voters. She will have a forensic understanding of how Labour have run the NHS in Wales into the ground ie BCUHB still in special measures after nearly 5 years….! Come on Sarah!

… it’s a winners’ democracy. The losers can take a hike until the next chance comes along in four or so years’ time!

That is until the LOSERS, dont like the outcome of the vote and call for another one!

@ Tim…. you state ‘completely unnecessary brexit’ – god forbid a government should enact the democratic will of the people….? and in the next breath Timmy boy will urge us to believe he is a democrat who believes in the will of the people won’t you Timmy…? As for the billions spent by the Tories, do you have any idea how much Labour committed successive generations too under their PFI programmes, we will still be paying for many of their projects for the next 15 – 20 years! Not to mention the thousands of billions spend on an illegal war and all the fallout from that.
This has to be one of the craziest ‘solutions’ to a social problem- taking away two benches when there are at least 8 others less than 30 yards away.
Hw can taking away two benches be part of a solution when they can sit on the other benches, sall flower bed walls or take up residence on the steps of the closed RBS Bank.
When will the Council and others come up with some real solutions that are effective and stainable.
This is just a piece of socil engineering by trying to shift a problem into another part of town.
D.J. – Excellent point, but your forgetting the proximity of the benches that have been removed from the rear entrance of the WCBC Contact Centre….you see this is the entrance all the council officers based within Lord Street etc use to go in and out of the building. They don’t use the front entrance like we do. So in reality, the people making the decisions are not happy to walk past the riff raff, holding their noses. But there quite happy for the rest of the good people of Wrexham to have to put up with the rogues! You couldn’t make it up.

I for one support Matt for Sheriff. LOL
Matt’s spending too much time in the Students Union bar again.
@ Sheefag, you’re such a hoot…! Too much time at the bar Matt and you’ll also need a catheter to save your mattress. Have a little optimism, Wales, indeed the UK is such a GREAT country. Be proud and stand tall.
