Funny that you should mention that young sir, but the cheeky beau Berty Einstein’s pet name for me was Loopy Maureen and he actually coined the phrase “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results.” following me constantly refusing his advances, the man was in many ways though, an idiot.
Relatively speaking of course.

Elan Jones had a good majority at the last election but that could be overturned at the next, a big ask but possible, i hope it is. She goes on about a “confirmatory” vote, what she really means is a re-run of the referendum, it’s like calling speed cameras safety cameras just a way, in the minds of the instigators to get something distasteful sound acceptable whereas everybody knows what it really means. If there was to be a referendum where the questions were, out with the deal on offer or out with no deal i could get along with it but, it won’t be, will it? It’s more likely to be out with the deal or out with no deal or, remain, so splitting the leave vote which is exactly what the scheming MP’s like Elan Jones would want to do. We have made the decision on going or staying and that’s an immutable fact so remain should not figure on any ballot paper.
I’ll sit back now and wait for the remainers to come back at me with all their twisted logic, bending over backwards to explain how a democratic vote taken just like any vote in the UK has been taken should not be respected and should be overturned. Yeah right.

Whatever his merits-demerits are this is likely to be the reason he’s going as he knows the writing is on the wall and, he doesn’t want to face defeat. Imo of course.

Increased spending, supporting the Welsh language for a minority of people that want to use it whilst reducing spending on libraries that all can, will, and do use.

Happy with that are we?
So what actually has Farage done?

Collected a big pay cheque for doing f all, rarely turning up, not representing the special interest group (fishermen) that he claimed to champion.

Farage is brilliant, He scammed you lot; now drop and bend for the KY, because his mates that he does care about, are coming round for their turn.Enjoy.
You mean the fat paycheck he has spent over 25 years trying to get stopped? I don’t blame him doing that tbh. The remainers say that we should stay in and try to change things from the inside and that’s what Farage has endevoured to do by staying there, without much, if any success. He has been a thorn in their side though and needed to be.

The Fishermen. He has always done and continues to do so fight to get us out of the EU and that’s exactly what the Fishermen want so he is working for them in effect.

Here he is on just that subject giving the Fishermen a public platform to air their grievances which can’t be a bad thing.

Other than to say this, I am choosing to ignore your odious vitriol.

PS. Just who are “his mates” you refer to?

Sorry but i have to mention it again. Cutting vital services (again), charging for services that have historically been included in the council tax, talk of closing libraries and the “under used” (they say) other facilities but increasing spending on supporting the Welsh language where the spend is in the millions anyway. Changing road signs where the Welsh isn’t on top or the spelling is wrong is just one example of the measures where much needed money is being used. I need to ask, is that a priority? Does it really matter, when people are suffering from major cuts to services? Not to me it doesn’t. Ok. i’ll admit it i’m an Englishman living in Wales therefore it could be said i have no right to bring the matter up but, i do pay my due taxes here which does give me that right.
Are you, the Welsh here, happy with it all? Another thing i have said here before and it’s still true is that if you agree to spending millions on the Welsh language at this time of acute shortage of funds for important services then, you should not complain about those shortages and just suck them up and be happy that the road signs are being put the way they, in your opinion, should be.

And all the time this is going on Farage is building his Brexit Party up, getting MP candidates, forming policies etc. so the delay is really playing into his hands. You may dismiss Farage but you do that at your peril as he is a clever man and, pretty much the most succesful politician in this country at present because he has done just about everything he’s said he would to date, the same cannot be said for much of the other shower.
It’s been said before and i’ll say it again, if leaving the EU was such a terrible ldea and was going to completely ruin us then the question should never have been asked in the first place but, it was, and the answer given was leave so, it needs delivering or democratically held referenda’s will be proved worthless and the loss of public confidence in the democratic system epic! Remember, that most decisions by different countries that have gone against what the EU want have either been overturned by a further vote forced on the public or “worked around” so rendering the vote innefective. This exposes the EU as an anti democratic power where all that matters is the EU project which is hell bent on further integration, a federal power with it’s own military all run by the EU. Politicians (the really ambitious ones) just love power and it’s power that feeds them it gets them up in the morning so, why would they not want to expand their sphere of influence. No, it’s not for me i’m afraid and i don’t want to be a part of a pretty much, self governing super power to which i feel i have little or no connection to and, if we are forced to vote again and the answer comes back as stay we would become just another victim of the EU superstate and the poorer for it.
Project fear has been a continuing feature of Brexit and is still strong but, what’s happened to all the doom and gloom predictions that abounded at the time of the referendum? This MIGHT happen that MIGHT happen this MAY take place ad nauseam. They don’t seem to have materialised, unless you happen to want to stand on one leg with your arm in the air leaning over and squint at the “facts” and interpret them in a way that fits your narrative that is.
Ok. that’s it from me as i’m sick to death of the sorry mess that has been created by our (bordering on) dysfunctional government and parliament.
I now await the name calling and insults which have been characterised by the remainers such as “swivel eyed loon” “knuckle scraping Brexiteers” “didn’t understand what they were voting for” “thick” ad infinitum.
Ok. daily rant over and it’s not yet 9am. i’m on a roll :) Have yourselves a great day remainers and leavers all :)

There could be a vote on deal or no deal but, the stay/leave argument has already been decided by the referendum. People like Lucas are going to pay the price for their lack of support for the result of a democratically held referendum. The Brexit Party and Farage are growing stronger all the time and please don’t any remainers come after me with your tired arguments about how the referendum wasn’t democratic and how we were lied to and we didn’t know what we were voting for etc etc etc because your insults have only served to strengthen the resolve of the leavers and will continue to do so.

Yes, as i said, it’s still feasable to get pinched for 1 mph. over but, not likely due to the GoSafe policy.
